Whimsical, even if a little sappy.

Thoughts

I appreciated the references to Mark Twain and Huckleberry Finn, but the film tended to get a little too whimsical for its own good, detaching itself from reality. Other than that, it's well acted and charming, definitely a feel-good film you should watch with mom.
